Terms & Conditions of Use

Registration process

You are required to register and provide information about yourself for us to set up your account (please refer to our privacy policy). You agree as part of our terms of use that the information you provide is true, current and accurate. We will only approve accounts for schools whose local authority have funded access and support the future development of the website.

It is your sole responsibility for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account and it is a violation of the terms and conditions for you to share it with others.

Acceptable usage

The resources can be downloaded and printed for your personal use only to support your class (i.e. pupils, parents for homework tasks etc.). Your member account is strictly for your personal use only and you may not use your account to download and print for anyone else. Where you have another teaching colleague who wishes to use the resources we request that you ask them to sign up too. This is important as it allows us to:

  • Effectively monitor true usage across year groups;

  • Support better understanding of the needs of schools;

  • Better develop future resources across the key stages and year groups;

  • Report effectively to the relevant authority who has subsidised/funded your subscription (where appropriate) and secure continued funding.

If you use a shared device to access the resources it is your responsibility to ensure you log out at the end of every session.

It is a violation of the licence agreement for you to share/distribute/reproduce the resources with others in any form. You must not alter the resources in any way. If you have any suggestions of how we can adapt/amend the resources to support you or others better then please let us know.

Breaches and misuse

If you breach these terms and conditions your account will be terminated along with all others associated with your school. It could also result in your registration data being disclosed to the relevant funding authority to justify the termination. This could also impact on other schools within your local authority regarding future subsidised funding for this website. This could affect any future funding to support the free/public sections of the website.

You understand and agree that we will monitor your usage of the service to allow us to determine whether a violation has, or is, occurring.

Subscription period

In the case of a school subsciption being funded by their local authoirty or other partner organisation there may be a timescale set for access based on the funding agreement. If this is the case, you will be made aware of the timescale the subscription licence is valid upon signing up and contacted prior to expiration of any agreed licence. In many cases we hope that the funding body will continue to support beyond the subscription period, otherwise we will give you options on how to maintain access if you wish.
